Flags for Heroes is back for 2023 to honor our heroes and celebrate Memorial Day and Flag Day! With your help, over 1500 American flags will be raised between two locations: Clayton and Smithfield, next to the Johnston Health Hospitals on Sunday, May 28, 2023 and will remain up through June 18, 2022. JOCO FLAGS FOR HEROES: SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

Sunday, May 28th, 5:00 pm – Opening Ceremonies and Flag Raising
Opening Ceremonies and the raising of the 1500+ flags. The public is invited to help us raise the flags.
Wednesday, June 14th, 6:30 pm – Tribute to Flag Day | Appreciation Night for Active Military, Veterans, and First Responders
Sunday, June 18th, 5:00 pm – Closing Ceremonies and Father’s Day Family Heroes Event
A Father’s Day salute to our many Family Heroes, followed by collecting medallions and lowering the 1500+ flags. Sponsors may collect their medallions at this ceremony.
